Transformers WfC: Grimlockby *Mecha-Master

Concept art for the Nintendo DS version of Transformers: War for Cybertron. This was the fourth character I did for the game. I was contracted to make 10 but only 4 made it all the way to completion.

This version is based on existing Cybertronian designs, before he went to earth and became a Dinobot. DO NOT complain about him being a tank or minivan or whatever he is. It wasn't my call.

I think its a very nice synonym for his T-rex mode; kind of an all terrain assault vehicle.

I may be one of the few people that liked the Cybertronian mode for Grimlock. I just liked the idea that he wasn't always a big brawling T-Rex but a big bruising vehicle before whatever it is in game that Shockwave does to him. I wish we could have received the toy for him so it could go on display with all my collection of 'modernized of what I use to have.'
