To be honest.. I really did not like this design. At all. I didn't even recognize it as the Black Knight, and it never measured up to the Nova Cat in game. I think your recent redesign that you link to shows a lot of improvement, and a reason why the strong push to remove hands from mechs was the wrong path to take in these games, still makes me sad thinking about how goofy Atlas looked with just a pair of heavy, useless, pointless metal blocks where hands should be.... BK's always been kind of an odd looking design, though. Would love to have seen what you'd do with it when given total freedom.
you're completely missing the point here. This is the original concept art. All other versions, including the game art, are based on this. So all the other versions have the shield on the wrong arm. Take that!
I liked this a lot in Mercenaries - I've never played Black Knight, so I can't say how I liked that game in general, but I know this was one of the toughest Heavies in Mercs.
