MechWarrior 4 Kodiakby *Mecha-Master

This is the final approved concept sketch for the Kodiak mech from one of Microsoft's MechWarrior: Mercenaries mech packs. Can't remember which one.

The Kodiak had to fit onto the Atlas skeleton so we could use the same animations, which created a few proportion problems. It took several sketches to get a design that worked well. This design was heavily based on existing minis and TRo drawings but I revamped the forearms to be my own and I'm still happy with how they turned out.

This here was my favorite assult class mech in MW4 Mercs. When ever I need shock and aww effect and somthing that could take a beating then dish an even bigger beating back it was this guy who I chose to take into combat! Those Ghost Bear boys know how to make a scary mech!

Your version of the kodiak got me interested in it. A shame that it took a third party patch to get a decent weapons load out on it. The Truck-Bear face is really intimidating.
