The Osprey has been a fan-favorite mech for almost 20 years but wasn't an officially recognized design until the recently released Technical Readout 3085. It was my honor to design the final look for the mech.

An official mini has already been released by Iron Wind Metals! Very exciting!!! I have one and will post a picture of it sometime.

Nice work, David. Always good to see these nice clean lines of yours. :)

This design looks great, but I kinda wonder how mean it would look with an additional chin mounted chaingun. ;)

Oh, cool. So you have permit to post them all here? That's nice.
Since I never cared for non-canon designs I had to dig out the BattleTechnology 12 to see how the old drawing in there looked. Not thaaat bad, but like a twisted mix of Marauder, Catapult with some Champion-touch.:puke:;)
Your Osprey looks pretty cool and its one of my favorites in the TRO3085.
I just wonder if the image differs a lil from the stats. On the image it looks like it has a medium and a small laser in each arm, while the stats say only in the left and the right sports a medium and a BAP. Whatever, it looks cool and I like how its shown in action in running pose.
I even don't mind that is has these wing-alike arms which I hate on the Champion.;P

I really like this one. It does everything right that the Champion does wrong (the whole "aerospace fighter with legs" look, in particular).

Hey, I looked up the champion and the drawing I saw looks pretty good. I can imagine it looking cooler, but not bad relative to many of the other mechs. I know a mecha can look different depending on which image of that mech you see so here's the one I saw... [link]

Yeah that's the one. It's not the worst old mech design, but it's definitely on my list of least favorites. Imagine how horrible its stride would be, with those legs. Ugh.
