The Griffin 5S

I had a good time drawing this mech, but it will probably be my last bit of work for this project due to my schedule. I just started working on another Hot Wheels book so I have very little time for anything else right now.

Visit the designers blog for updates on the TRO project...

There is just something to love when you see a mech with a 'Rifle'. It might be my love of Macross might have something do with it.

Just want I except from some one with such skills.

I have to wonder sometimes about hand-held weapons for Battlemechs and how they are represented in the boardgame. The rules book Maximum Tech gives rules to allow players to construct hand-held weapons for thier machines (ie self contained weapons that can be used via the hand actuators).

So what does that mean for many of the designs illustrated holding guns? Would they be allowed to drop them or are they somehow welded to the design?

Did my own take on this as well. Mounted the PPC to the arm and put the missiles in a box: [link]

I don't play Battletech so I rely on the art director and designers to guide me when it comes to things like this. In other words, I don't know the rules for hand-held weapons.

Is this from the battletech universe, because from what I gathered from Mechwarrior,No mechs have actuall weapons you can grab, besides melee weapons.

No hand held weapons in MechWarrior, but there are hand held weapons in Battletech, I think.

Hardly any difference between them, heck since wizkids got the name, theyve been callign it Mechwarrior instead of battletech now.
